You have spent your money on a wrinkle cream that is supposed to work wonders overnight, and you have found that it didn't do anything for you at all. You still have the frown lines, or the slight sag at your jaw line, and you are very disappointed in the product. You just don't understand why that particular wrinkle cream didn't work for you, but it worked great for your co-worker.
Another reason why the wrinkle cream didn't work for you could very well be a direct result of your age. As you age, your skin becomes drier and may require either a higher concentration of the active ingredient than what is available in what you tried. Your skin could also require a wrinkle cream that has more moisturizers in it than what works for a younger person as their skin naturally produces more oils.
Another thing to consider is whether or not the wrinkle cream you purchased has light diffusing particles in it. These particles, usually mica that has been crush to micro-fine pieces, diffuse any light that reaches your face to soften the appearances of line or dark circles. If you did not purchase a wrinkle cream with these particles, you will not have any form of instant results or satisfaction.
The biggest reason why a wrinkle cream didn't work is that it is not used correctly. Wrinkle creams need to be applied after cleansing and before moisturizing. They also need to be used exactly as the directions state. This means that if you did not use it consistently, it will not produce satisfactory results. Sometimes, a good wrinkle cream just need time to do its job. This can take several weeks, but the results are always there.
Don't get downhearted just because it didn't work as quickly as you thought it would. If you feel comfortable using it, and you are experiencing no side effects from it, give it a little time before you decide to scrap it. Most likely, your damaged skin just needs a little time to regenerate new cells that will give you the younger-looking skin you desire from the wrinkle cream you purchased.
